Get ready, New Milford—this summer’s book sale isn’t just another weekend event. According to the latest update from the Friends of the New Milford Public Library, the 2024 Annual Summer Book Sale (July 11–13 at New Milford High School) will be their final sale for at least two years, directly due to the library’s upcoming construction.
This means: no book sales in 2025 or 2026, and possibly not until the library fully reopens in 2027.
Official 2024 Event Details:
- Thursday, July 11: Early Bird Hour (9–10 a.m.) – $5 admission | Free entry 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Friday, July 12: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: Final Day – 10 a.m.–2 p.m., with all books half price!
